Studio
History
Founded by Cowboy Jack Clement in 1975 as his home studio, The Cowboy Arms Hotel & Recording Spa, it was the first professional home recording studio in Nashville, and was truly Nashville’s clubhouse for songwriters. The legendary fun and creative mystique of Cowboy’s home and studio was captured in the documentary film “Shakespeare Was A Big George Jones Fan: The Home Movies Of Cowboy Jack Clement.”
New Ownership
In 2018, Cowboy's cousin Bob Clement, purchased the studio with the aim to bring the ambiance and sound quality of the studio back to its former heyday. With the help of sound engineer Cameron Davidson and Sean Sullivan, world renowned studio designer Steve Durr and producers like David Ferguson and Mark Horward, Clement House Recording Studio has been restored to its world class sound quality and vibe that made it so legendary back in the 1970’s and 80’s.
